Sherry's Shopping List stores your shopping list data in Apple iCloud to sync across your devices. This data includes:
- Shopping list items you create
- Store names and sections you create
- Item images you attach (if any)
This data is:
- Stored in YOUR personal iCloud account
- Not accessible to us
- Not shared with any third parties
- Controlled entirely by you
Analytics and Crash Reporting
We use Google Firebase services to help us understand how the app is used and to identify issues:
- Firebase Crashlytics - Collects crash reports to help us fix bugs and improve stability
- Firebase Analytics - Collects anonymous usage data such as how often the app is used, general location (country/region), and which features are popular
This data is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. It helps us make the app better for everyone.

What We Don't Collect
We do not collect or have access to:
- Your shopping list contents
- Your name, email, or contact information
- Precise location data
- Photos or images you add to items
Third-Party Services
Our apps use the following third-party services:
- Apple iCloud - For syncing your data across devices (Apple's Privacy Policy)
- Google Firebase - For crash reporting and analytics (Firebase Privacy Policy)
Data Storage and Security
Your shopping list data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account (if iCloud sync is enabled). We do not operate servers that store your personal data.
Analytics and crash data is processed by Firebase according to their security practices.
Your Rights
You have control over your data:
- Delete the app to remove local data
- Manage iCloud data through your device's Settings
- Turn off iCloud sync at any time
Children's Privacy
Our apps do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is suitable for users of all ages.
